Behind the Music (Laughter)

The time was February 2009. Two young musicians were about to travel down a path on which they would revolutionize the new wave comestible themed a cappella barbershop genre. The crooners implemented a recording method that had gone unused since the recording of Ovacado's Gigantic Picnic. During their recording the twosome implored the style of chef Ettore Boiardi, recording their hymns as they were preparing their meals.

What emerged was known simply as The Whoa Pizza Sessions. Each song no more than 45 seconds long, all beginning with the heartfelt cry of "Whoa Pizza!," almost all identical in lyrics, this 16 hour disc featured more songs than you could possibly count- well thats not true- but there were a lot. The Sessions, as the groups cult-like followers called it, was slated for an April 1st release.

Sadly, for the members of this pie loving duo, it wasn't all smiles. Threats of racism were tossed back and forth daily and arguments about their forthcoming album Kill Basa reached a peak in late March. With the recordings incomplete the group disbanded, leaving The Woah Pizza Sessions unreleased. Recently the material was leaked by the groups former fluffer. This is all that remains of the historic sessions.
